A coherent random-modulated continuous-wave (RMCW) LiDAR transmits a lightwave modulated by pseudo-random binary sequence (PRBS). The backscattered from targets is received and used to reconstruct the PRBS. Then, time-of-flight extracted correlating reconstructed PRBS original We propose RMCW based on phase-coded subcarrier modulation, in which impacts of internal reflection optical Doppler frequency shift (DFS) are mitigated. continuous amplitude-modulated an RF signal with Coherent detection receiver. beat that consisted low-frequency high-frequency obtained single balanced photodetector (BPD).
